Selectmen close warrant for Special Town Meeting on Monday, Oct 29

The Selectmen have closed the warrant for the Special Town Meeting coming up on Monday, October 29. There are three articles on the warrant:

  1. To see if the town will approve the use of CPA funds for the restoration of the Jonas French watering trough in the town center in FY08.
  2. To appropriate CPA funds for administrative expenses, CPA projects, and other expenses in FY08.
  3. To transfer funds from the Cemetery Special Revenue account (funded by sale of lots) to supplement the operating budget for Cemetery Interments for the remainder of FY08.

The Special Town Meeting is scheduled for 7pm on Oct 29 at the Swallow Union School. A quorum will be needed to start the meeting.
